This is a drawing that was originally a silhouette exercise but developed into a full-fledged character. She’s named “EbonyBlue”, and is a member of a race of floating, carefree creatures called “Ebonies”, who are all completely black in color and feminine in appearance but with different personalities, body shapes, and hair colors and styles. I may elaborate more on this concept in the coming weeks, as this is kinda a cool idea.

Please ignore the hands, I know they look like crap.

Interesting how simple exercises always seem to lead to whole new ideas one way or another.

I'm quite enjoying that unique set of eyelashes, and the structure of her chin and cheekbones. Her weight's pretty nicely distributed, too - particularly her thighs and calves!
