I don't think I ever showed these here on dA. I had designed this characters months ago and posted these drawings on tumblr. Back then, I didn't have a name for this character, but I've decided to call her R0-Z (Rosy).
R0-Z's a small robot girl who's body's made up of an elastic substance with a central metal chassis on her chest which helps keep her form. I originally had the shorts-like part be metal as well, but for the sake of flexibility, it's now elastic like the rest of the body, so they're kinda like tights. On top are some possible color schemes for R0-Z, though I prefer #2 personally. Underneath are some powerup ideas that I designed for her. The idea is that she acquires these powerups in every world, and each powerup matches the theme of each world and is essential in being able to pass through it.
Plasma Fist: gives R0-Z a surge of strength and fists composed of solid plasma. With this, she can K.O small enemies with one punch, and smash the ground (kinda like the Hulk)to stun all grounded enemies on screen. This smash technique when charged can also be used to hurl R0-Z higher up in the air than she can jump, which will be necessary to reach certain areas. R0-Z acquires this power-up in a high-tech, futuristic, clean white and blue-colored metropolis.
Super Tendrils: gives R0-Z long, stretchy tendrils that can whip enemies both on land and in the air. These are also used to grip onto high ledges and poles. These are acquired in the ruins of an ancient civilization, and are used to solve various puzzles throughout the world.
Techno Blaster: Allows R0-Z to shoot projectiles made up of solid light. I was inspired by Samus Aran’s blaster when designing this. With this power-up, certain areas can be unlocked that would otherwise be hidden behind strong structures and doors that can’t be destroyed with any other item. R0-Z acquires this inside a Tron-like, techno and dubstep-themed world located inside a computer.
These aren't all the powerups in the game. I have a few more to design. Wish I can have the time right now to further work on this.
